Announcer: We've got new terrorists from afar to associate with everyone of their ethnicity! So... Who's it gonna be? Chechens! Woman: ...and my dad's from Chechnya. Man: Oh, yeah. Boston bombings! Ten Years From Now
Romans and all those thousands of crucifixions, some folks never forget, well from Joshua (bad guy) to the holocaust (which killed over 13 million, not six, or WW II with 53+ million dead.) Yes, “bad guys” are the ones, generally, who lose, while winners become the “good guys” when theyy write the histories.(despite what THEY might have done)
Obviously, we need to invade the Czech Republic. Not only are they vaguely in the same part of the world, they are almost spelled the same way. -I mean, What Would W do?
Anyone who generally peruses the news was previously aware of the hotbed of radicalism and terrorism that is Chechnya. While the final panel implies the association henceforth with Boston, the association with the school hostages in southern Russia was already the mental connection that I had with the region.
What the heck? Obama’s Chechens? In no universe does that make any sense. By my calculations, if they’ve been here ten years, they arrived under Bush. But I haven’t yet seen ANYONE blame them on the W-ster (nor am I, since it isn’t his fault). But radical Islamic hatred of America was not started, nor particularly fanned, by Obama. With the huge exception of the drone program that Howie so admires.
