Hard mode: Explaining how marrying rich worked for Jane’s sister while Jane herself will never escape the abuse of her hateful mother. Also explain how it’s the younger sibling who will repeat Jane’s mistakes.
Explain how usually it’s the rich who marry rich, not the poor. Explain that her prospects of marrying rich depend on being where the rich are – and at her age, it’s generally at college. Explain that the successful rich – i.e., those who actually do something -!are generally interested in spouses of a similar bent.
Actually a “C” is a passing grade. The main problem these days is that even with a college degree it’s almost impossible to get a job! I sure do miss the old days of the Clinton Presidency; times of prosperity. Then you only needed a High School Diploma to get a basic white collar job!

Sid’s getting a little chunky! If you want to at least try and marry rich, you’ve got to look the part. She’d be better off studying.
