No mayo or ketchup, no way, no how. Just call me Mustard Man. Spicy brown, stone ground, honey mustard – anything but ordinary yellow mustard please.

Mustard. Always. I always tell them NO mayo! SPEAKING of mustard, when I was growing up, we didn’t have a lot of money, so I used to eat mustard sandwiches. THOSE were really good! If you’re ever hungry and don’t feel like making a big mess, I encourage you to try it—you won’t be disappointed! Well, unless you don’t like mustard. lol

For a turkey sandwich, gotta be mayo, preferably Duke’s. Mustard is for ham sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, hot dogs, and the like.

    Miracle Whip is an abomination.

I grew up around Philly eating proper hoagies. A few years back I ordered a hoagie at a favorite joint on the Penn campus. “You want mayo on that?,” I’m asked. Incredulous, I say, probably more loudly than I should have, “Mayo on a hoagie?” The counter guy shrugs and says, “We get lots of New Yorkers in here.” They must be the same people who put ketchup in their Pepsi.

Depends on the sandwich. I grew up on Miracle Whip sandwichs and can relate to Sardonis’s childhood. I like yellow (Sorry Grog) or honey mustard. That stone ground and Dijon stuff are too spicy for me.
