Charley: hey, regular round perfect tomatoes....this is an heirloom tomato! Hes gonna have some odd coloring... He might be a little misshapen or bumpy... ...but heirlooms have their own distinct look and we are going to celebrate that difference. I don't know if theres any bullying in the tomato world, Jonas. But if there is, I plan on stopping it before it even starts.

As long as it tastes good with a bit of salt and mayo on it, or in a sandwich with lettuce and bacon (and mayo), in my sub at Subway, in a salad, or on my burger … I don’t give a damn what kind of tomato it is – as long as it’s red, juicy and delicious. :D

Morning crew.The only thing that stops me from eating heirloom tomatoe is the price.I can’t force myself to pay over $4.00 lb for a tomatoe.
