Because unmanned aircraft in battle is the same as blowing up innocent families enjoying a marathon…

Right on, Ted. More innocent people-many of whom are children-have been killed by drones supposedly aimed at the “bad” guys. Shame on you, Mr . President!

If you can’t see the parallel between terrorist bombings and drone bombings, you need to go to more weddings in targeted countries.

Nope, I’m pretty well clued up on military terminology. Which is why I know that ‘battle’ involves combat between two or more forces, not detonating remotely bombs that you know will kill civilians at no risk to yourself. Therefore doesn’t apply to the people who bombed the marathon, or to the people operating drones. Happy to have cleared that up for you.

Ah, I see Americans are getting a new geography lesson today.

Where is Chechenya?Where is Dagestan?Where is Russia?

[ Just for Tigger’s sake: Where is the Czech Republic? Where is Bohemia?Where are the Caucasus?]

Who knew atrocities could be so educational?

The Tsarnaevs were from Russian Chechnya, which is nowhere near the Czech Republic. Czechs are historically Catholic, but mostly secular these days. There is next to no Muslim population in the Czech Republic. Chechens are Sunni Muslims, but religious extremists only popped up after a bloody war for independence. Learn basic geography before you comment. They both have been in the US for nearly 10 years. The younger brother was outwardly a normal, very Americanized kid. His older brother obviously had issues. He was quoted as saying he didn’t understand Americans, but also said he’d rather compete for the US than Russia if his dream of being an Olympic boxer ever came true.http://deadspin.com/heres-everything-we-know-about-tamerlan-tsarnaev-the-476415081http://deadspin.com/everything-we-know-about-dzhokhar-tsarnaev-the-still-a-476434991

The goat is probably for dinner, the same way in the US we have turkey or ham at holidays, or perhaps roast beef.

I didn’t see any blood at the scene. With what the bomb was supposed to have in it, why weren’t more people a bloody mess?

You guys might not believe this, but apparently (no, really!), there are more like Tigger out there!

The Czech Embassy in the USA had to issue an official statement that it IS NOT Chechnya !

Know what is sick? That Tigger made me laugh when this is a tragic event. Damn you, Tigger!

Neither are 8 year old children at a wedding in Afghanistan, but the drone operator knows they’re going to die when he presses the button. But, hey, they’re brown and far away, right? So just “collateral damage” to hypocrites like you.

mumbled gibberish: “Military targes for drones …. the other is just go directly to collateral damage … an 8 year old boy watching an international race…. that’s brave”

…say what? Vielleicht ist deine Muttersprache nicht Englisch? Because you made no sense..

If a drone operator presses a button knowing children are in his target area, he’s making a conscious choice to kill them. There’s no moral superiority there – he knows he’s killing kids.

What’s brave about operating a drone thousands of miles from your indiscriminate targets?

“If you live in a war zone …” Got it. It’s the 8 year old’s own fault for living in a war zone. 8 year olds should be living their lives watching the skies and hoping they can outrun a Hellfire missile if they happen to spot it coming. 8 year old Americans are exempt.
