Coming from Portland OR, I’m glad his shorts are under the overalls.

Caulfield WILL have Frazz’ job if he keeps dissing mrs. Olsen.

Today’s shorts are more like baggy pedal pushers (showing my age Hera).

the days are getting warmer, and men’s heads become like the exorcist.

I could have lived just fine without ever thinking about what Frazz wears under his jump suit. Especially before I’ve finished breakfast.

Hey, I like shorts! They’re comfy and easy to wear!

I wonder if Ms. Plainwell wears shorts under her skirts.

I went to school in four different states, never encountered one where shorts were against the dress code.

Calvin got mad when Hobbes suggested he wear shorts, because he was already. Of course, that means all his classmates, even Moe, were also extraordinarily short-legged.

Nice comic. Just realized that tomorrow I’ll wear long pants for the first time in over a year.

sierraseven: My daughter was victim of one of those perverts. She was sent home to change after the principal saw she was wearing shorts under her dress. He loved to go out during recess and look at the little girls’ panties. He was then promoted to high school principal so he could make bra checks (an actual function in those days), then superintendent and has a school named for him. Few citizens know his tru character.

Indeed, seeing the ladies in shorts is the only good thing about summer.

comicsssfan: Did you go to school in Mesquite, TX? Actually, my public school memories in Dallas were fairly good. But then I had a good high school principal. Unfortunately he was a victim of the Peter Principle, he got promoted to assistant superintendent when he should have been given the same increase in pay, but remain at his level of competence.
