My dad thought Spam was the greatest thing ever. I hated it. My mother made fried rice with Spam that was okay, though. It didn’t have much Spam in it.I wonder if Hormel (the comany that makes Spam) ever considered getting the rights to the Monty Python song for their advertising.

sniff sniff * I smell a guest appearance. .(here’s hoping he drew me like this comic, and not Hubris, where I have a sombrero I wore for ONE picture during FROSH week.)http://www.gocomics.com/thebuckets/2011/12/13

I am sick of getting Spam emails from Online Casinos and Banks!

But comic strips make it a little more humourous.

Every time I complain about spam emails, I have to hear about how it’s saving trees, and how the spam emails sort of pay for the massive use of the internets and all that hooey.

Yeah, It might be time for Frank to visit Allan for an upgrade, but then, maybe he’ll just do an Asimov and use the same old computer forever.

    Today’s Rant!

Spam? We loved it in the Army more than forty years ago.

Talk about a meal ready to eat or not. Try it with Tabasco sauce and canned bread. Then smoke your dried out four pack of Chesterfield or Lucky Strike cigarettes in your C- ration pack.

Haven’t been able to eat that stuff or smoke cigarettes since those thrilling days of yesteryear, however, this weekend it is on sale at 2 for $5 at the local Giant Food and Rite-Aid stores. Also available is the DAK canned ham at the same price. Too much fat for me.

I’m living on Social Security and my wife’s paycheck but I buy it/them and donate it to our local food bank whenever I can.

Those folks need anything that they can get including TP. Help them out people.

    Thanks for letting me rant.

I was in the Army over 60 years ago. I don’t remember ever having Spam. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t get it.
