Read in the LA Times yesterday that the evaluation committee changed the criteria so a company that has a history of fraudulent billing, payoffs and low-balling (then demanding increases for change orders) would win the first construction bid.
@Chillbilly: Hmm, drive 45 minutes to Union Station (Los Angeles) pay parking, ride train for 6 hours (2.5 hr travel + 7 stops), rent car at SFO, drive to destination or drive 6 hours from home to destination. Tough choice.
When you say “we”, do you mean YOU are here illegally?If so, then no sir, you are the one that needs to go somewhere else. How about going to your own country until you complete the process like millions of other people with integrity and character have done for decades.
If I want to move to France, should I just sneak in there and not follow their laws? Of course not.
I have no problem with immigrants, hell we’re gonna need a ton of them once ObammyCare kicks in and Americans have to wait a year or more to see a doctor.

All mass transit does is move people around more cheaply and efficiently than in individual cars. Why would any rational person want that?

Actually the first 10 BILLION DOLLAR stretch goes from Bakersfield to Fresno.
Yep, nowhere.
A recent report said it would COST taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars a year in losses due to low ridership.
I think Ca has more serious problems.
