When I don’t see my name in the list, I have to get up? Damn!

Still the comics first. Because if you’re a plugger, some things never change.

I’m with you! The Obits are too depressing.

How about when someone comes up to you and says their sorry about your mother dying and she is sitting next to you. It just happened to be someone with the same name.

Upon awakening the proper Plugger follows the following sequence:Examine both big toes for signs of a toe tag.Check the obituaries for your name.Check the Wanted posters at the Post Office.

If you do not find any evidence of your name in any of those places, you are having a good day.

One week, the editor of a small town weekly was supposed to print a tribute to one of its finest citizens….somehow….it appeared as an obituary. The citizen jokingly called the editor to ask about it….the editor wanted to know where he was calling from!!!

I can’t meet enough new people to replace the ones that are no longer here.I wonder at what point in life you “max out” as far as the number of (living) people that you know.

And you compare the deceased’s age against your own.
