Wow, London to a, er, an “L”.

"Workers at the new branch of Foxtons, Brixton Road, arrived to work this morning to the words “yuppies out” scrawled in large letters in paint across the estate agent’s window.

The graffiti follows an earlier incident this weekend, which saw “yuck” written in smaller letters on the glass.

Many see the arrival of the estate agent, on the site of the former Speedy Noodle restaurant, as a graphic symbol of gentrification in Brixton." – March, 2013

Almost deleted my 1st comment to replace it with my 2nd but spotted your reply to my 1st. ;-)

Nah, all British TEA was dumped in some remote, far flung harbour years ago.

Nothing to do with the ’toon: just noticed that this artist is listed alphabetically by first name, while all other artists on this page are listed by last name. Wonder how long this will persist…happened to me more than once in the Yellow Pages…made a difference.
