It’s an old school white iMac when they came with a fat white keyboard. Many people who got new iMacs at work hated the new chiclet wireless keyboards without a keypad, so they kept their old one.

The hard drive and other components in a mac aren’t any different than what you would find in a windows computer. They die with the same frequency.

And now the familiar pop-up that says "We have observed that you have a “blue screen of death” and we have the ability to correct it for only twenty dollars from your credit card".

I do a monthly newsletter, and every, EVERY single month, my main contributor tells me his article will be late because his computer crashed. A Mac. He swears they are the best in the world, but his track record makes me wonder.

I recall some years ago going into the grocery store and finding a big backup at the checkout. Every scanner display showed a bomb – that was Apple’s “blue screen”.
