You’re exactly right…Mr. Luckovich is with the Atlanta newspaper, and I happen to know that Atlanta has become covered in yellow ‘powder’ in the last several days…Anything an’ anybody outside is now a dusty yellow mess.Today, we should get rain to wash it away, but it will be back within hours of the rain stopping.Such is the case in the South in April…~The Masters starts today in Augusta…It’ll be a rough weather day for the first round. But Augusta National will be stunningly beautiful for the next four days, regardless of what Mother Nature plans to throw at the world’s best golfers an’ their legions of followers….

The allergy seasons for the last couple of years have been brutal. At least here in California they have started early and the pollen counts have been near to record breaking on a regular basis. This year is starting out the same way. Ugh!

The Master’s winners aren’t allowed to take their jackets off the course. Gary Player caught hell for doing that.

Never understood the value of the game of golf. (I’ll consider it a sport the same day that chess is considered a sport.)

Life throws you so much aggravation for free; why pay for more?

I’m not bothering to watch the Masters because Tiger Woods is the only player the press will show, the other 140 don’t matter.

Highest I saw was 92 but, that is close. Probably depends on which direction and how far you are from the city.

Yes, the fact that we are seeing record highs (and lows) , plus more extreme storm conditions certainly doesn’t suggest “global climate change,” it’s just Ms. Ima’s God jerking us around for a giggle. Here in CA the fire-danger season used to only last a few months at the end of summer and into the fall. Now, thanks to GCC it’s year round in many areas (unless there’s snow on the ground). We’ll have to raise taxes just to pay for putting out the fires.
