REX MORGAN: Today’s edition is concerned with June’s food intake and her work load.MARY WORTH: Beth is getting wise to her mother, who doesn’t seem to be so dead set about her creating another novel. I hope Elinor will not call Mary and find that beth is not actually there. Methinks Mary will have enough sense to figure out why Beth told her mother she is with Mary and Mary will quickly know how to respond.

Mary Worth: When did Beth make the date with Tom? Mother always seems to be around.

Rex Morgan: It seems that all June wants to do is eat.

Phantom: Nothing happening so we will have to wait another week and hope we find out what is going on.

Phantom – I said last week that Mandrake was doing a crossover in Phantom. Today we see that I was right.

PHANTOM: @david – you were right! How cool to have a crossover! I don’t usually follow P’s Sunday stories, but I will follow this one (Beginning: Mandrakes Bon Voyage!)REX MORGAN: There has sure been a lot about food…beginning with the craving for clams, the desire for pancakes, the last panel today. Maybe June will indeed get chubby and we’ll see her thinking about how she looked in that bathing suit when she was on the beach in CA. JUDGE PARKER: My take on today’s strip, putting 2 + 2 together, is that Thalia has been led into the deal by Ross, the hunky husband (that, if there is a scam, Dr. Thalia may be a victim too). Of course I may be adding 2 + 2 and getting 5…time will tell.

FUNKY W: While Lisa’s son Darrin praises his adoptive parents, we see an evil sneer on the face of his (Darrin’s) presumed bio-dad…I am presuming that Les came into Lisa’s life long after she had given her baby up for adoption. (I recall that Les finally “let go” of his late wife on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro last July, our time).

Rex – June must be a nurse practitioner who sees her own patients. My routine checkups are sometimes done by a nurse practitioner or a physician’s assistant and I think they do a good job.

Florchi, I went back and read some of the classic Funky story lines a year or so ago. I believe that Les came into Lisa’s life near the end of her pregnancy.
