I’m just wondering why this asteroid mania has taken hold to where it even shows up on the Weather Channel. When did our cultural role model become Chicken Little?
Although no one has been certified as having been killed by a meteor or comet strike, statisticians rank it as about equal in likelihood to being killed in a plane crash. If something big ever hit, there would be a huge death toll.
