Kids all loved cartoons when they went to the movies, but they were made for the adult movie goer(with some childrens’ humor). When TV really got a foothold and they were showing everything on film, they realized that children would watch them over and over, so they produced cartoons for the Saturday matinee and just for TV.There are many they won’t show anymore, black and white, those with WWII subject matter and those considered racist.

Rum and coke tastes better, Gin and coke, you can’t even taste the gin.
