The school could put Calvin in with the exceptional children, what they used to call special education back in the day. It’s obvious that he’s suffering from ADHD. A little Ritalin would do him a world of good.

it carries to some adults. some adults think that lions are males, and tigers are the females of the big cats. and, that there are tigers in africa. same adults have issues with the dryer lint trap. or, having issues with the toilet seat.

Calvin was hungry when he did the exam. One shouldn’t do a test on an empty stomach…PAPER is much better!!

I don’t know why you all are coming down hard on Calvin, maybe the old battleax is just a lousy teacher! And ADHD has become a reason to medicate our children, so we adults don’t have to discipline them

Unfortunately, there are many otherwise normal adults whose lack of knowledge rivals Calvin’s.

And Calvin, the United States of America does not have 57 states.

B-b-b-but while it should be pointed out that while Betty Crocker, Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima are all made up fictional characters, Chef Boyardee was a real Italian chef!

Don’t DO that!!!! Life will not offer Calvin a series of do-overs, “there-there”s, and swaddling blankets. Do you know that young adults entering college today are called the “teacup” generation because of their fragility about themselves? That some universities are having parents come to orientation for the same reason? The last thing any young person needs is one more excuse to focus on self.

This wouldn’t have happened if they’d let Stupendous Man take the test in Calvin’s place.

Chef Boy-Are-Dee – what a magnificent joke. I’m going to have to try to remember that when election time rolls around….

Naturally, Susie Derkins (who sits right beside him — barf!) got her usual “A+”!
