Do they pick up hitchhikers in Vermont?

At first I thought it might be Ben and Jerry and their chunky monkey, but . . . nope.

At this rate, they’ll never get to Woodstock.

Saw a bumper sticker that read “Silver City, New Mexico – where old hippies go to die”. Maybe they are headed there.

I used to love driving over to Vermont at harvest time. All the old hippies coming into town with their homegrown organic veggies to sell. Do they still do that? I miss New England.

This cartoon is like the old joke about Philly. What do people do for fun in Philly ? Got to gas station see if someone will say filler-up or even get their tires rotated. Dull, but not as dull as Vermont.

Small farms and farmer’s markets are huge all through Vermont. As for nothing happening in Vermont, it might lack a huge bunch of excitement but if you’re tired of the way things are going in more populated areas then it isn’t so bad.

Do they have cars in Vermont??
