    Here I am.

Thank you for going after me!

Just before I went out this afternoon, I could read the comics but not the comments,as I posted on yesterday’s.When I got home tonight the whole site was down…and now it’s all back.So I got a wee bit sidetracked reading yesterday’s forums…and now I’m late!

Thanks for coming in, little monkeys…. I know you like to get a chance to work with Fenton.

Yes, I’m sure he appreciates it.That big doggie sigh was just because he’s tired….

He takes classes at Ballard Senior Center And Kite Emporium… (BS CAKE)First calisthenics… then swimming…free weights… pilates….and now, obviously…. origami.

    Red… I know…

Boxers are special that way….His tolerance is one reason he makes a great bartender.

He trained the little monkeys and he knows they adore him…

So he gives them a break…

But you notice they’re usually scheduled for his nights off….

pcolli….what you said about yo-yos is how I feel about spectator sports, in general…(As in "Didn’t I see that guy hit/kick/bat a ball yesterday? ")

But don’t tell anyone…I keep getting in trouble.

    Goodnight Red…and I agree….

I’m glad everybody likes different things…and that various things are made for different tastes.

Otherwise there’d be no Glenfiddich in a world full of Bud Light drinkers.

    Cheers!

    StelBel….

    I’m starting to think maybe….just maybe… you’re right….

Cos when I was out tonight…..he sneaked upstairs and tried to make a snack.

He’s seen me put something in the microwave…but he doesn’t know how they work…so he heated it up himself….

And then he got scared and hid.

Oh hullo again pcolli….You can always just say hello.

But remember… it’s just a comic strip and a bunch of crazy fans.No pressure… just a place to relax.

Some people get involved, some don’t.Some just like to stop by for the camaraderie, even if they have no clue what we’re talking about.

All are welcome…after all, the strip characters themselves are nuts.

Roger is not fidgeting. He has lost his yoyo, things are desperate and Roger is frantic; yoyo meditation begins in three minutes; he hasn’t finished the paper, Rusty Boy needs to go out; his voice mail box is full; Stan is late for checkers; Shirley wants to go to the library; he’s hungry and life has become one long run on sentence. It’s not fidgeting; its more like squirming under pressure; or fiddling with a little twitching; its actually closer to frenzy but not hysterical; Roger knows hysterical, they are old friends and this is not hysterical; hysterical comes later…oh my seems I know Roger better than I thought.

Yoyo meditation must be performed with either red and blue yoyos or two red yoyos, Roger is one yoyo short of a tantra.

Roger says “I know that elephant is behind this couch I just know it!!!!!!!” “It’s always back there mocking me, teasing me, and took my blue yo-yo.”I love my yo-yo. I can be found at times out in the office lobby yo-yoing to my heart’s content.Seriously I have a red competition Duncan in my desk. I do get it out and play with it. I can do the Swing, Walk the Dog, Round the World and only hit myself in the head occasionally.

I think he’s just got what my grandma would call the Itchity-Fidgets. Looks like a worse case than when grandpa decided it was too far to walk back home to do his business and used a convenient bush (the kind with 3 shiny leaves)

@beviek from yesterday- I’ll pass on the stale brownie, watching the cals. But if you put an extra shot of Vodka in than lemonade please… (I can always make room for THOSE cals, even if it means and extra few laps around the block)

Roger was practising “walking the dog” with his Yo-Yo when the dog heard the mailman and bounded for the door over the back of the couch, with Roger trailing after him.

Hello everybody….Meant to be here earlier but it’s just not been that sort of a day.

Had hair appointments, and I’m tired….

In between clients, though…I did manage to do a little baking….

Did you see me drive up here with pies?

I didn’t have time to eally bake a LOT, as you can see….

And I only made apple, cherry, berry, peach, apricot, blueberry, banana cream, key lime (somebody asked for that,) and lemon cream…

Last time I passed Roger’s house he was still (or once again?) halfway behind the couch, all neatly pointed and pleated.

That origami-do class is making him more flexible than ever.

Mountain fold along line B, bringing left elbow to right knee, creasing sharply.

Hmmm …I wonder whether he irons his own slacks…or perhaps they don’t even need ironing when they’re nicely folded like that all day.

I think even Roger would have trouble maintaining sharp pleats while getting himself in and out of positions like that, but he IS rather spry for his age.

I wanted to let you … er… ask you to do me a big favor and go see whether the Fireman would like some pie….

Do you think you could do that…. for me of course….cos I know what a big hassle it is to you, having to walk all the way back to the Rainbow Grill Room, just to talk to that bothersome fireman…
