I can understand Spoony completely, the tongue-feeling of wooden spoons is terrible. Almost as bad as any kind of fabric. As a kid I had a friend who always chewed on the sleeves of her sweaters. I couldn’t watch her while she was doing it because it made me gag. Even today thinking about how fabric feels in one’s mouth makes me shudder a bit. Ugh.

Aren’t (small) wooden or horn spoons properly used for caviar, since metal spoons will alter the taste?

Also, Spoony is probably not a fan of “The Tick” or “Phil, The Prince of Insufficient Light”. http://manbehindthecurtain.ie/2011/05/28/spoons/

I’d be scared if I ever got a splinter on my tongue.

The ‘professional help’ told me to avoid chewing on fabric and licking wooden spoons. I think I can handle it ;-)

I still say that Adam shouldn’t have answered that text.

I wonder if Spoony knows Jodi Arias? She said her mother use to hit her with a wooden spoon when she was young. Yeah, yeah. I was hit so many times and the spoon always broke. My mother finally had to have my dad make a wooden paddle to use on us instead. “Honey, go make a weapon to use on the children”. Before we could report child abuse. :o(
