When I was at Florida State, I entertained myself one day by imagining that the professors were all in their nightwear. Lots of stripey pj’s, bathrobes, slippers, hair in curlers. . . . Maybe Petey could’ve handled that.
Imagine they are all pigs, sitting there attentively. I did that when I delivered my father’s eulogy, and I told the audience what I was doing—that loosened things up a bit!
