Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday I saw the cardiologist who reviewed my tests. he told me my heart is OK (I suspected that from the beginning), it’s my lungs – off to get a referral to the lung doctor. He also described me as obese (the reason is I get out of breath when I try to walk to lose weight) – so, even though I don’t eat that much, I must eat less.

Morning, Vagabonds. Our friend in Germany has a new baby, it’s her first. We’re dying to see it, so we downloaded Skype. We’re trying to arrange a date when we can see each other on Skype, but it’s difficult to make a date when there’s a 7 hour time difference. Really darn frustrating as a matter of fact.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds………..

    IT’S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s almost Memorial Day, and we are getting our yearly “Moist Pacific Storm”. This means that we can plant our outside garden next week. Hopefully this will be the last cold snap of the season. It was 72 on Tuesday…….and today the trees and ground is all coated with white. I do like the variety

I have an answer for you Arye. Google “anti-cancer diet” and you’ll get all kinds of suggestions for healthy eating. It’s 75% plant based including whole grains, and the rest is very lean protein. I’ve been on this as a prevention for future cancer since the first of April, and have since lost 12 pounds. I have NOT been hungry! Even during our big vacation, I managed to maintain this healthy eating. It’s all about 5 to 7 servings of raw veggies and fruit, and anything else you want as long as you keep the “junk” to a minimum. I do eat desserts, but in small quantities. If you’re interested in what to eat, send me an e-mail and I can give you some suggestions.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

See my late post yesterday for an update on my friend Rhonda.

Supposed to get up to the low 80’s today after several days in the low 90’s. I love the spring weather here. Windows open, breezes clearing out that stale winter air. It will be time to close up and turn on the AC soon enough, so I’m taking advantage as much as I can.
