    Sounds counterintuitive, I know, but if you don’t want insects around, inside or out, nurture spiders. They’re the best pest catchers (and eaters) around.

    I love the little jumping spiders (if any spider could be called cute, these are) I find in the house, although I worry they’re not going to find food inside. Sometimes I try to capture them and put them outside.

    But wolf spiders? Nope. Too dang big. OUT into the yard with them.

    I have a spider living between the floor and the foot of the tub in the bathroom. I’ve nicknamed her Charlotte. As long as she stays in her corner, I will let her keep down the other bugs for me.

    tiny spiders stay inside (much to my wife’s chagrin) but we don’t have other buggies… bigger spideys just get a fast trip to the great outdoors! don’t hate on the arachnids :)
