Short memories, devotion to a party without keeping up with their policies, not doing your own research. Most of all, not accepting responsibility for your own life, but blaming everyone else and thinking that you deserve something you did not earn.
@ Omnius – The only unbiased media I’ve found is Public Broadcasting. Not that they cover much. There is nothing unbiased about any of the commercial news sources. They broadcast and publish whatever press releases they are handed, no checking, much less research. And that is pretty much all they carry – from all sources, political and otherwise. You can’t trust them to accurately report a traffic stop.
The news is pretty much useless in this country, except possibly as a beginning point for some sort of research.
Also – this government has become so corrupt on BOTH sides of the aisle that you are right no matter where you point, if you are pointing at corruption and even law breaking.
We have ONE party in this country, and it is essentially fascist. Showing two faces is just a way to keep people squabbling over red herrings, while government does what it pleases, but NOT on behalf of its constituents.
We have one party here, 2 sides of the same coin. Don’t buy universal gun checks, it is just a way of signing up every gun owner and all his/her guns, so that they can have a “mandatory” buyback. Thomas Jefferson warned us, folks. Watch both sides, all they want is control of the masses.
