I lost my mother and father in law in a house fire in 1973.Almost lost my wife before we were married.
Even the dog died in the fire.
This was before the smoke alarms were everywhere.
Mine go off at 3 am when they need a battery change, but I can deal with it.
Don’t mean to be a bummer on this Easter Sunday but smoke alarms save lives.
