Smaller government and the r/w-teaparty complains. Who would have thought?
As America grows smaller and smaller, we’ll need less and less government. Just like we can cut 500 million from wildlands firefighting, since George Will has asserted that wildfires are on a downward trend.
They are closing towers at two small airports near Tampa Bay, too.
Bullcrap. The sequester is an across the board cut and Congress hasn’t seen fit to allow anyone transfer authority.
These airports can raise the funds regionally, if there is a real need the $$$ will come. Otherwise it is pork.
