We had a

GRITS time in ’Vegas. We saw the Mob Museum, and enjoyed it.

good morning and happy tuesday locos Shika I typed the wrong month, it’s October that the locos wanted to not celebrate, do you want that as your bday month?Today is the last day of Passover and also Easter Tuesday (mainly in Australia). Argentina has Día del Veterano y de los Caídos en la Guerra de Malvinas, Iran has Nature Day. Florida is celebrating Pascua Florida Day. And after growing up in Florida, I will admit, I’ve never heard of it.

Akenta, that happens! You can live somewhere most of your life and not know some of the things that go on there! LOL! Or, maybe that’s a new holiday since you left.

I googled the mob museum. Sounds quite interesting.

We also went to The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, the one that’s on TV. Normally there is a long line of people waiting to get in, but we hit it just right. I wasn’t impressed. The guys that own it only come in when they are filming. Everything thing there was priced very high for a pawn shop. I think that what is on display are things that were bought outright, and not pawned. We went to a tiny pawn shop in the Fremont district, and there the prices were what I expected. I found two rings that I liked, problem was she didn’t take credit cards, cash only.

The Pawn Shop that is owned by Old Man Harrison on Pawn Stars? Youngest and I watch that once in awhile. The Old Man is a riot! LOL!

Johnny, it is cold here too. Minus 5 degrees, with snow. I think that we got the calendar that has two April Fools’ Days. Some joke.

Shika yes my avatar is from Warrior Baek Dong-Soo. The young fellow on the left just recently enlisted in the South Korean Army to fulfill his military duty to his country. All males in South Korea must serve 21 months in the Army before the age of 29. He is 19.I never liked foreign films before but these aren’t dubbed, the English subtitles are well done and left on the screen long enough that you can read them and still view the scenes. These South Korean dramas are so well done, I am truly amazed, at least the ones I have been watching. I guess you have to appreciate other art forms to give these a chance and see if you like them or not. I still can’t over how much I am enjoying these!

They are on line Shika. But I doubt you’ll check them out, LOL! I never have that time either, so I watch my soap, Days of Our Lives, and usually one episode of one of the Dramas before I get supper. Hubby sits and parks, I guess he is allowed given the stress of his job. And I did buy the DVD.s for Dong Soo so I watch them on my laptop.
