I also love animals…. dogs, cats, birds, wild things and tame (of course I can only love the wild bunch from afar…) I think this would work better than anything PETA might do, and as someone mentioned, would really work as a Humane Society poster… Sluggo was a person, like us all, who needed love, but animals do, too! Like Phil Collins’ song, a good home is Paradise to them!
I see where people are bringing back strays from Kauai (with approval) and they are being adopted out via various organizations around the country. Great job!
Trust me, animals will remind you what they need until they get it. And they are worth the effort involved in taking care of them. I love my three cats, and they don’t need walking.

As the “father” of a rescue, I agree….he’s spoiled rotten…and gives more love than he could ever get in return.
