I bought a used Pontiac Vibe, but I still like taking the bus to work sometimes. You can’t write while you drive. (And today’s the first day of Camp Nanowrimo 2013, yay!)
A car is my fifth transportation option, after walking, biking, rail, and bus. Sadly, some destinations are hard or impossible to get to via transit, and too far to be practical via foot or bike. But eliminating those destinations that necessitate driving is definitely a goal. So much money flushed down the toilet owning a car, even though it’s paid for and I only have to gas it once per 1.5 to 2 months.
