Truly GOOD people almost never seem to get their just reward and many times no celebrity either.

James Garner’s supposedly a nice guy. Lorne Green was, too. These types of celebrities are well-known. They’re just not as loud as the obnoxious kind. They also tend to live a lot longer.

I was thinking of Tom Hanks. You never hear about him getting into trouble and he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Pal (Lassie) had a son who took over the role, but I never heard of a marriage. .Eric Severeid had the best definition of celebrity: someone who is famous for being famous. That would exclude most of the listed because they actually entertained a fairly diverse audience.
