I’m sure Peoria"s. wonderful, but Joan was expecting Paris. And you have to admit that Peoria isn’t Paris. :)

This will be a funny story to tell later. I can’t imagine why they still wouldn’t make it to Paris. They shouldn’t be grounded for too long. Otherwise, the airline will owe a lot of people a lot of money.

@C C Alexander: you are so right…. it would be like in the Paul Simon song: doesn’t speak the language, holds no currency.. .. she’d feel like cattle in the market place.But… I’d really like to see how Paris – which is one of my favorite cities – would be pictured in this strip. So – I’m ready to be entertained, even if there is a constant whine-line through all panels.

Just thought of an old 78 record I used to listen to.
