    You never learn if you don’t try and remember the first rule of DIY is that each project will require at least 3 trips to the hardware store.

    GAH!!! No accent on the e. The word is forte – pronounced same as fort – and it means one’s strong point. The word with the accent on the e – pronounced as for-tay – is a direction to play loudly in music. I’m pretty sure she’s not saying that repairing windows isn’t his ability to play loud music…

    at fairychatmomIncorrect, they are the same word. in both cases pronounced fortay, the word simply means strong
