@Robert Landers:Raised in a L.A. suburb and still live within 30 miles of the house. Don’t see how you can say things are getting better. The strip malls around here are still losing shops. Despite the recent tax increases the state gov’t is both broke and broken. LAUSD is a joke. And our governor wants a train from nowhere to nowhere so he can appoint cronies to the commission to study why it’s going to fail.
