This seems to be kind of a riff on the old joke about the man who answers the door and finds his mother-in-law there who asks “Can I stay here for a few days?” The man replies “Of course you can” and slams the door.

@SandfanThe fight clouds episodes were always some of the funniest. Thanks for the classics!@Number SixWith no football until next fall I was really missing Mad Capps to give me a dose of Sunday entertainment. Welcome back! I especially liked Andy’s beer dwindling away to nothing—and no re-fill for Valentine’s Day forgettors!

Today’s strip is a lot better than yesterday’s.

Why doesn’t Flo shove Andy out in the pouring rain? Without an umbrella then his cap will be all soggy.

    LOL xxx

Hi !So much for hope. It has been snowing since late afternoon yesterday. 8 inches (U.S.) called for. 12 pm and it is still coming.. Not up to much but am on the third disc of “The Good Life”. They are playing nicely. Great repartee between the characters. I can still get a laugh, since last seeing the programmies in the ‘90s.

Talked to Aunt Eileen this morning. She had to go to ’ospital earlier in the week. She is home and still going through an adjustment period with the dialysis. I am glad there is no major crisis as the weather isn’t the best for traveling and I still have to button up the car repairs. The oil line goes on when I finish the cooling juice leak fix. The good news is I am financially capable when the time comes.

I’m really sorry the weather has been really bad. There was ME complaining about the cold weather in my area yesterday! ‘The Good Life’ does sound…well…. GOOD. Does it feel good to catch up with the characters and the plot again?

I still have Eileen in my thoughts and prayers along with Afficionado’s family. I’m glad she’s home and comfortable.

I gather your day will STILL be freezing and thick with snow… But I hope you still manage to have a good one.

Boss Lady is in Cleveland. She’s getting that snow tomorrow. I’m glad to be here in North Carolina. It’s chilly and wet and gloomy but not snowing. Sorry for all of y’all getting this late snow. But I won’t gloat. Karma, you know.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN PIKE !Sorry, I’m so late but I hope you had a terrific birthday. I’ve had grandson staying for the last few day so I haven’t been as attentive to the strips but I’m really glad I caught this.May the next year bring you more happiness, more joy, more security, and better health, than the past one. Since I’m a bit older, I won;t kid you about the platinum AARP card that you carry but… jus sayin’
