And hey, I see no problem with restricting what size crap drinks a restaurant can serve. I don’t want any more than a 12 oz. cup (no ice) should I decide have a soda. Want more? Buy seconds!-Also, studies show that reduced portion sizes (on smaller plates, so it looks bigger) will still leave you satisfied.
Indefinite detention: yet another reason war should be avoided. Tell me why we went to Gulf War I again? Are we safer because we invaded Grenada? And why are we in Afghanistan?
I have stopped checking out books from the library. I purchase my books with cash. I use every privacy control I can find when I use the internet. I drive a car which has no computer.
And to turn another argument on its head, if someone checks out a book about guns, don’t you want to make sure he doesn’t intend to use it? He might be a nutcase who will pass the background check, you know….

I recommend you pay more attention. Jon Stewart hardly ever needs to criticize a Republican; he brings up an “event from the day” and plays a videotape of a Republican saying something incredibly stupid. Or a Fox commentator, which is mostly the same thing.The videos are not doctored.

Not true. Ask the John McCain who existed before they replaced his brain. He gave names when he was tortured: the offensive line of the Green Bay Packers.
If you were being tortured, would you want to tell your torturers anything that would be to their advantage? Torture produces information. None of it will be reliable.
We did get some useful information from the suspected terrorist who was diabetic. We offered him some sugar-free cookies. He was surprised to find we weren’t like we had been described, and was willing to cooperate. If we act like the Great Satan, no one will want to help our cause.
