I have a Masters degree and I still believe in a creator. Education and religion are not mutually exclusive. Grow up and let people decide for themselves.
Everybody’s past follows them into the present, no matter what they do, did or have done, or didn’t do.…We are more interested in what they do now once they have gotten their plum assignment.…If all we worry about is what was done in the past or what somebody did in their past, we probably would not get anything done in the present, or even plan about what to do in the future, because we would worry about how it would reflect back on us.

Well, you could simply look up his past and how he basicly supported (by not acting against) the acts happening in his area.
