A futile charge against a defended fort, c’mon Frenchies just pick them off. What’s the ’zan up to while all this is happening?

Hmmmm…..I wonder how many “extras” the comic strip can afford to attack the fort? Maybe there are really only a handful of attackers and he’ll keep redrawing them around the fort. That’s what D. W. Griffith used to do in his silent movies he directed.

Is the gate to this fort wide open or something? Why is an attack on it a problem for them? Four guys on horses versus two guys atop a fortress with a Gatling gun looks like suicide to me.

Is this an entirely new story, or are Kurt and Sofia still involved in this?

Le Renard planned the attack very carefully. Soon the defenders will run out of flares. In the dark, the attachers will ride up to the wall where their horses (part of an eqine cheerleading squad) will build a horseflesh pyramid that the attackers can scale to surmount the walls and outflank the defenders. Tarzan, Kurt and Safia are still a ways off in the desert, but should arrive soon….perhaps soon enough to thwart the clever plan of Le Renard.

It’s not very smart to charge a fortified position in the night under a flare … not very smart.

Unless there’s something we’re not being told yet, Le Reynard’s (The Fox’s) party has more guts than brains… both of which may yet be splattered all over the sand.
