I’m browsing and collecting these golden strips for a while,and it’s strange to me that most of the comments are like monochrome this,land rover that etc etc….these old strips are from era when it’s writing and drawing style was the best at that very moment….for today’s can’t compare with anything….all in all,making fun with such a man like Tarzan, a-a.no way!
Say what, saywhat? Now, Tarzan’s declaration in the first panel…I can only attribute that to the fact that English is not his first language and he has learned it from reading Victorian era romance novels.
So three on on camel? Tarzan only has to go the nearest bank and announce he is John Clayton, richest ex-pat Brit in Africa and he’ll be home in no time. Finding Governor Bisby at the breakfast table will be another matter.
Ohhhhhh Noooooooo…….another three weeks of this Bob Hope (Tarzan), Bing Crosby (nazi Kurt), and Dorothy LaMour (Princess Conehead) nonsense aboard a poor camel! :(> HotSandsAGowa!!
