What’s worse? Wanting to look like 36 at age 18, or ACTING like you’re 18 when you’re 36??? We had a few of our High School Beauties doing that at our 25th Reunion. It was sad and pathetic.
At least SHE admits she wishes to be objectified..
I well remember being chewed out nearly daily for admiring what was sticking out of miniskirts and low-cut dresses. For that matter, I was also chewed out on the rare occassions I DIDN’T notice and/or admire..Ah well, ’twas a small price to pay and the memories live on.
When I was 13 I didn’t want to look 13 either, I wanted to look 16. At 16 I wanted to look 18 and so on. At 25 I wanted to stop but it doesn’t work that way!
I started being happy with how I looked in my 20’s. I’m still happy with how I look… one of the benefits of getting older (I only have to please myself).

Funny, we put the “pedal to the metal” to get older, and then at some point we put a squeal on the brakes, and try to “put the car in reverse”….

When I was 13 I didn’t want to look 13 either, I wanted to look 16. At 16 I wanted to look 18 and so on. At 25 I wanted to stop but it doesn’t work that way!

I started being happy with how I looked in my 20’s. I’m still happy with how I look… one of the benefits of getting older (I only have to please myself).
