OPPS!?!In the first panel, the grand ol’ DeSoto is drawn suggesting it is a coupe or hardtop…’not a convertible with the top perennially down…’Looks that way in the last panel, too, with the suggestion of a rear roof pillar an’ some ‘glare’ on the rear glass… Did Cosmo spring for a conversion of his beloved classic?
As of today – March 25, 2013 – The Chicago Tribune dropped the Shoe comic strip for good from their comics section (daily and Sunday) and is replaced by a comic strip called “The Middletons”! Maybe I should e-mail the newspaper to bring back the Shoe comic strip if possible…
