It has no impact on my life but sure I could offer up an opinion. Everyone can have an opinion.

HAHAHAHAHA! First of all, there are liberal Catholics, too, you know. Any random Jesuit, for that matter.Second of all, you are falsely linking liberalism to Communism. Not the same thing. Especially Leninism-Stalinism, which bears very little relationship to Marxism, and neither resemble liberalism or progressivism.And Catholics are also opposed to warfare except in self-defense (e.g., the Iraq War was condemned by the Vatican), capital punishment, and income inequality (e.g., the criticism of Ryan’s Ayn Rand budget by the Church). Sounds to me like the Church has some rather liberal stands here. Can you stand for such truths to see the light of day?

Chimney sweeps also don’t cover up decades of child sexual abuse among their own community. The instant the Catholic Church decided to sweep even one incident of priestly pedophilia under the rug, it abdicated its position of moral authority.

“The men who did these thing are not the Church any more than the KKK is America. When will you Liberals figure that one out?”As soon as you figure out that your morals, which are dictated by a Church Hierarchy that most Americans do not recognize, should not be forced upon the rest of us.

And to really hammer the point home, when post-1970 liberals are complicit in covering up crimes of white supremacists, you can make that analogy. There are many men, still in positions of authority in the Catholic Church, who committed or covered up crimes. You do nothing but excuse them.
