Interestingly, Rand Paul is picking up his dad’s popularity amongst the younger crowd. They seem to be attracted to his Libertarian beliefs and ignoring the fact that he ran as a Republican. I am just hopeful that his age group of younger Republicans can elbow out the old farts of the party that should retire to their ranches and their memoirs. Of course I hope for the same thing amongst the Democrats, since the younger generation is going to be the most impacted by this stupid mess we are in they will be more amenable to fixing it.
Rand’s stand on filibuster and drone use is widely being taken out of context with his broader, real, “program”. Looking at his total package is important, just like with Germany in the 1920’s and 30’s, when they stand up and shout, or drone on, it’s critical to realize what they’re underlying message really is.
You would also have to flush the Republican tea-baggers out of state politics. Unconstitutional abortion bans, converting income taxes to sales taxes, attacking contraception, and destroying the value of a working job are hardly the way to win the electorate of the present and future.
the CIA (and all other departments) do what the US President says to do.The Obama administration was talking and planning to use drones inside the USA to hit Americans “deemed dangerous” and early in the Obama 1st term the list was “US Veterans, militias, Right-Wing Conservatives….etc etc”-Obama campaigned against Americans who “cling to their Bibles and guns”….! (when the Islamics get the UN “blasphemy” laws passed, with the USA under Obama honoring UN Law….no doubt Christians reading the Bible publicly will be deemed “dangerous” and arrested and charged!)

What a waste of time. The drone program is currently run by the CIA. The CIA is not allowed to operate inside of the US. Next question?
