Wait…what? There’s no backtracking in baseball! 24-7, call the game and let’s hit the Bucket.

Well, we know it isn’t Steve Boone.

“Backtracking to midwinter,At a gas station off the highway …”

Suddenly I’m hearing Kenny Rogers singing “The Gambler.”

…ex baseball player, injured leg, gangrene sets in, “we’ll have to amputate”, depression sets in, Gil needs a new third base coach…

I’m guessing messed up arm, will have to rebuild it. Bionic arm who can throw 95 accurately. Big debate over if the pitcher has an unfair advantage.

My guess is that it’s the guy who owns the peacocks. That was too good a story line to just quit cold turkey.

I agree, Gilfan, Peacock poop is extremely slippery.

From the build in P3, I think it is the Kingpin, from Spiderman ville.

Clearly, this is the storyline we should have been following all along.

Slip and Fall, Milford attorneys, are on the scene before the guy hits the ground. Gil is 1/2 owner of the mart, and selling moonshine out of the back door. Again Gil will not coach much of a season, to deal with his legal issues. Steve Boone says he’s qualified for the 3B coaching gig, and has consulted Mr. Slip.

Bluedarter may have it … no wonder Gil-Father was such an absentee coach during Peacock-o-rama, he was spending all his time in court, with Kaz the Enforcer intimidating and roughing up witnesses so they could get it over with and get back to Milford in time for basketball season.

Or it’s time travel – hope not, time travel gives me a splitting headache!

Sir, the best way to heal your back is to pack up your high school age son and his 95 mph fastball and move to the Milford School District.

Maybe that was Gil all bundled up for winter, and he has spent the entire basketball season in traction.
