Good morning, Vagabonds: 4 more full days before returning to New York; I hope I’m not returning too soon. @Jan, there is no pool near me. The one I would like to go to is a long subway ride from me (unlike stepping out of my Miami building lobby right into the pool) and if I join that Y, I will keep putting off my visits to the pool.
Morning, Village.Is winter ever going to be over? I put my jacket and sweater away, thinking I wouldn’t be using them any more for a while, but yesterday I drug my jacket out of the closet again and this morning I’m wearing a sweater. Weird.
Winter isn’t over up here either. They did get snow down at Old Faithful, and according to the web cams on the highways, there was snow all around, so it was a good call to cancel the early visit to Yellowstone.
The latest we have had snow up here since we moved almost 7 years ago, was June 16th. Last year was Memorial Day weekend. It does postpone the summer heat at least.
Cleaning lady today, so we’ll head to town and do some shopping, and enjoy a nice lunch.

Good morning to all Vagabonds:After a nice day with the temp in the mid 70s, it is now in the 50s after rain last night. Sun is trying to come out.
Well, it is all over here after they got the two who set off the bombs at the marathon. One was killed and the other was shot but is in custody.The only problem is that one officer was killed and another shot.
Good morning, vagabonds. Two more full days before I leave for NY. Today I recorded one of the movies on DVD I bought in Israel. They are not American system, but, luckily, I have a multi-system DVD player. I wasn’t allowed to copy it to my DVD, but I did copy it to my VHS (it;s a combo VHS-DVD) and then I copied it to that system’s DVD. This way I have 1 copy of the movie in my Miami home and another in NY.
Morning Vagabonds..Sunzup shining bright, temp only in the 30s..Movie time: As we all know Bob Hope and Bing Crosby stared in what was to be called the “Road To” movies or shows, who played thier lady friend in them?There was one road movie made in ‘62 who was the lady in that one.?Oh, and one more thing, what animated TV show spoofed the Road Movies by having the main character get in to trouble with his father and uncle?Extra points for that last one..Ok the news is on and I’ll be going to church soon..Later..ttfn
Easy questions, dkram. Dorothy Lamore was their lady friend. And, the 1962 movie starred Joan Collins, with Dorothy in a small cameo part. (Road to Hong Kong). I don’t know about the animated TV show……..a guess would be the Simpsons.
Snowed AGAIN last night! And, it’s snowing right now. Supposed to keep it up all day. Luckily, where we live, we will probably only accumulate about 2 inches.
You are correct ML.The animated show was “Tazmania” staring Taz and his whole family.Taz’s dad sounded like Bob Hope and there was this uncle who sounded like Bing. And in two or three episodes called “Road to Tazmania”. The two adult devels don’t seem to take notice of anything wrong, but poor ol’ Taz is going bonkers..Well the sun is begining to set here. A couple more hours for many of us.Enjoy the night..ttfn
