And they should stop saying that having a diploma or degree gets you more money. It doesn’t. Businesses will only pay what the going wage is for a certain job, nothing more. A diploma or degree is no guarantee you’ll get a great paying job or a job at all. I’ve read where if you’ve been out of work for too long, some employers won’t consider you at all. They forget a lot of people were laid off or just plain let go because of the economy.
