Let’s see if I’ve got this straight now: It’s “meine ruby slippers” and “Mein Gott!”It seems to me that there’s a fair chance that Joey Rat the Emeritus will end up devoting a good bit of his retirement to dodging process servers. Or at least he should be.

Not betting against you on that at all. In fact, I believe that’s about what happened to the last pope to resign, Celestine V. What’s more, that pope died in prison 9 months after his resignation. Ironic, no?
