    Notice they use “IIII” on a clock instead of “IV”. That is supposed to King Charles doing so he wouldn’t have to pay a clockmaker of something.

    Ever think, when reading some of these, “I hope that guy isn’t from my country…”

    As for the clocks set fast, bars have done that for years and years, there’s ‘real’ time and ‘bar’ time.

    It looks to me like he is writing with the pen/pencil inserted into the fold of skin on the BRIDGE of his nose. Hence he is not writing with his EYES!

    Until ‘Train Time’ was established, America had a lot of train accidents. Bumping into the rear of a slow train. And a few collisions because of being late to get on a side-track.
