Hmmmm…. upon further consideration, the character I nominate for sainthood is Agnes’ long-suffering dog.
She has one, she doesn’t…she leaves him for months with the vet…
from whom she recently(-ish) negotiated his return at a greatly reduced fee…And we haven’t seen him since.If he’s fed, walked and petted on a similar schedule, and hasn’t eaten Agnes or Grandma…he has the proverbial patience of Job….Even MY saint-less tribes might consider canonization.

Don’t think sainthood as a hobby has ever caught on, Agnes. It’s like sort of a byproduct of other stuff.

Maybe she could aim for eventually being, like, say, 23% canonised.That leaves 77% of her time for work and play.
