    My old kittens (Echo & Flash) hid in the top drawer of our desk (about 5 inches deep). We hunted for over 2 hours for these boyz. In desperation, I opened that drawer and up popped 2 little furry heads.

    I’d worry about the puppy being in a closed drawer for any length of time! (for breathing, not other biological issues)
