I worked in Vienna instead of in London over a long weekend and no-one noticed (the logs would show where I had VPNed in from but it doesn’t automatically raise a red flag as we have many employees criss-crossing Europe all the time). No-one noticed because all of my work was done as expected. Meh.

I find it much easier to work on-site as opposed to at home. Especially when my wife turns the TV on in the other room and I get sucked into watching “Gunsmoke” reruns…
