Serious problems because of stupidity, and a total lack of leadership from the Speaker of the House to represent America, instead of party, isn’t exactly “Armageddon”, but it ain’t fun, or responsible, either.
You clearly don’t understand our form of government or the history that led to its formation. You use the word “leader” as if Obama was some sort of supreme ruler rather than the head of the Executive branch of our government. It is not his constitutionally mandated role to lead in matters of the federal budget. That is the explicit responsibility of Congress. The President can suggest and attempt to persuade the Congress that a particular budget or set of budgetary priorities are the best, but ultimately, it is the responsibility of the Congress to produce and ratify the budget.
